the synth beeps at the end can be interpreted into morse code which literary translates to "is this goodbye?"
as mentioned in the bio, this song was made during an episode of extreme separation anxiety involving my at the time partner. i was extremely worried that our relationship was gonna be over.
my anxieties ended up being right unfortunately, it did end up being goodbye, & it was entirely my fault. my bpd makes me an awful partner & i can't get any sort of treatment because my parents stigmatize mental health issues so i can't ask them for a therapist. that's basically the energy this song is trying to give.
there's also morse code before this which translates to the name this individual went by at the time, which i will not write/annotate here for their privacy. i also request that anyone editing this in the future doesn't annotate it, for any reason. i am the artist, please respect my & my ex's mental health over whatever ultra rare bandcamp artist archive you're running.
i won't remove or change the morse in the actual song, since i feel like it would be sort of scummy to try and make it seem like that wasn't there, if that makes sense. + i feel like even if i did remove it, there would inevitably be some sort of obscure music archive that would upload the original version & refuse to take it down even if i asked them to. but i will ask that the translation for that specific morse isn't posted anywhere publicly.
